Apart from inviting people to work at KRA, and organizing an annual Summer of the Kra Festival, there is a need for a basic infrastructure that let people document their ideas and plans, research and realisations. We are experimenting with small computer boards as a home server [arK::Kra], and how to connect them to other places [let’s say arK::n, arK::m, …], creating a shared hybrid environment, documenting new sound art as it is being created in the countryside. So now the questions arise: how should it look like, and what technology is needed to reinvent a kind of connected home server mesh network, with our partners in France, Germany, Belgium, Marocco, … We can provide some first-hand information on concepts and ideas from artists, some streams of the works, and documentation as things are being developed further, even if it is elsewhere.
